Image mapping
This tutorial is done in Paint shop pro 8.
Step 1: Make ur image, if you want you can use my image to start.
I'll be useing this
Now we have our layout, take the layout and open it in psp always save it first because it never turns out right being saved in image map. Name it different then what you'll call in it image map..
Ok now go to "File" then to "Export" then click "Image Mapping" a screen like this should pop up.
Now if you can't see ur text all that well you can grab the hand tool looks like this
Move it until you can see, but if that still doesn't help much use ur zoom in tool looks like this
Zoom in until its good for you. Now take ur square tool looks like this
and outline the first part to be image mapped if ur useing the little layout you would outline the word "Site"
Now where it says "URL" type in the url for the site, say in ur site you named it "Site.html" so you would type in either like my site name I would either do "http://yourspacegoodiez.com/Site.html" or I would do "Site.html".
Alt text, would be whatever the name of the text is on ur button. The target well if you want it to open in a new window _blank if you want to open it in the same page _Self If you want it to open in one of ur frames then the name of that frame is what you put in. Now after you have everything on ur image that you want imaged mapped click "Save" and save everything.
